During your stay at a host family, you'll easily learn some Spanish and also get insights in how people live in harmony with nature.
The days off from volunteer work, you will get to know the beautiful waterfalls nearby, and stunning views of the landscapes.
At the local school, the kids are keen to learn English! As a volunteer teacher, you'll enjoy working with the children. In the evenings, you can even give English classes for the local artisans, since they want to sell their Equatorian Arts products for tourists. Finally, what about your creative talents? At the village's Artisan Shop, you can learn arts and crafts.
After all, you will experience the amazing Ecuadorian culture from a local perspective and as a bonus will learn and/ or improve your Spanish language skills.
