Best Volunteer Programs in Peru with IKPVA: Unique and Highly Affordable!

Volunteer Programs in Peru

Locations - Arequipa, Cusco and Iquitos

Travel to this fascinating and diverse country in Latin America: Volunteering in Peru is a unique experience, and our prices are among the cheapest. You can volunteer as a teacher and give English lessons, like Marco Fiorito from Italy, who traveled to the Amazon region near Iquitos, and took home unforgettable memories with his open-minded students. Another highlight is the Andean Immersion, where you will get to know the life of the villagers high in the Andes near Cusco. In addition, there is the possibility to look after and teach children in a rural "Kindergarten", as well as to participate in construction projects and renovations. One of the most popular programs are medical internships, also possible in the three cities of Cusco, Arequipa or Iquitos, and in Cusco there is a dental program for volunteers.

We offer volunteer programs at 3 different stunning locations for you to volunteer in Peru: Arequipa, Cusco, or Iquitos.

Arequipa is Peru’s ashlar white stone city; it is awash with snow-capped mountains, volcanoes including the famous El Misti, deep canyons such as Cotahuasi and Colca, small coves and beaches.

Cusco is the home of the Incas and the archaeological capital of the Americas. Cusco is a cosmopolitan city, yet you shouldn’t be surprised to see a pet llama; it is the gateway to sacred valley and Machu Pichu, and is steeped in rich heritage.

Iquitos is the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon. Forests grow on white sands and are home to an extremely diverse array of flora and fauna.
