Loving Ghana, the kids are great. Ghanaians are so friendly, everyday is a new experience. – Jeanette Warthon, from USA
Child Care Volunteering in Ghana
When you volunteer in Ghana working with childcare, you will be considered a daily staff member, working Monday-Friday. On the weekends you may choose, if you want to make a trip in the country or rather stay and continue working. Your volunteer work will be focused on caring for the kids by nurturing, playing, tutoring, and teaching them. Also, you will be expected to help with various needs, chores, and duties around the children’s home. Upon acceptance into your program, you will be provided with a daily schedule to guide your tasks throughout the day.
